Catalina the Caterpillar

Knit a cheerful, squishy caterpillar in soft chenille yarns to make a cuddly friend children will love to hug. This caterpillar is knit in garter stitch, with simple increases and decreases for shaping. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the caterpillar is knit on single pointed needles (not in the round). This pattern is designed specifically for knitting in chenille yarns. Chenille is a cosy soft yarn (usually 100% polyester) that makes a super soft knit. For beginners and above, other techniques used include knitting stripes, seaming, increases and decreases. One size only - 31cm long x 23cm tall (including the antennae).
