Candy

This is the second of my candy patterns, this time designed with DK weight yarn in a cozy Baby Llama yarn in colors I just couldn’t resist. This is a long, wide shawl cabled on one edge and garter stitch on the other with an optional loop on the end to pull the shawl through to keep it in place. Finished dimensions after washing and blocking:

Approximately 19“/50 cm wide x 73”/185 cm wide

Skill Level: beginner/intermediate

Notions: 2 stitch markers, cable needle and a darning needle to weave in the ends and kitchener stitch the loop.

Gauge: 20 sts per 4"/10 cm after blocking in stockinette stitch, although gauge is not important, your final dimensions and yardage requirements may vary if your gauge is different.

Yarn: Araucania Puelo Baby Llama DK weight 3 skeins/ 300 grams = 690.0 yards (630.9m)

Needles: US 7/4.5 mm
