• 4 squares x 5 squares = 20 total squares, finished size 80cm x 100cm
• 5 squares x 6 squares = 30 total squares, finished size 100cm x 120cm
• 6 squares x 7 squares = 42 total squares, finished size 120cm x 140cm

Knitting Techniques and Stitches

The Cable Patchwork Blanket employs cable knitting as its primary decorative technique. Cable stitches involve crossing groups of stitches over one another to create twisted, rope-like textures that add visual interest and dimension to the knitted fabric. This pattern includes multiple cable variations, allowing knitters to develop proficiency with different cable configurations.

The fundamental stitches used throughout this project include:

• Knit (K) - The basic knit stitch that forms the foundation of the fabric
• Purl (P) - The reverse of the knit stitch, used to create texture and pattern definition
