Having made a cable beanie for a lovely friend I decided to "invent" the pattern for a pair of fingerless mitts to make a set for her. This cable is simple to knit and an ideal small project for those wanting to try cabling. They're knit flat on 2 straight needles and then seamed so easier for the less experienced knitter too.
