Cable and Chain Boot Toppers

Make these fabulous boot toppers and learn some new techniques in the process! These little gems begin with the Chinese Waitress Cast-On (found in Cap Sease's book Cast On, Bind Off: 211 Ways to Begin and End Your Knitting) proceed to the Italian Chain Ribbing, then on to a lateral braid. You'll switch to a Mock Cable pattern and finally end off with the SSK Bind-Off.

Sizing: XS - 11" - 13" leg circumference S - 12" - 14" leg circumference M - 13" - 15" leg circumference L - 14" - 16" leg circumference XL - 15" - 17" leg circumference

The pictured boot toppers were made using Madelinetosh Tosh DK, but any wool/wool blend DK weight yarn should work well.
