Brioche Woodgrain scarf

This scarf is knit in 2-colour Brioche. The 18 cm wide shawl consists of one pattern block; the scarf can be widened by knitting additional blocks.

One skein per colour is sufficient for one scarf (as shown here), but any yarn of DK quality is suitable. I find that yarns with depth and elasticity (such as wool or wool mixes) are most suitable.

In the yarns shown here the scarf has a deeply textured and realistic “bark structure”, is very warm, and can be worn from both sides.

In my opinion this pattern is of intermediate difficulty level, but some experience in Brioche knitting is advisable. I have included all instructions I deemed important to explain every step of the make, but if you have any questions about the pattern, please contact me here and I love to help.
