Product Description
The Botanica Park Shawl is a semicircular pi shawl worked forth and back in one piece from the top down.
Each of the larger arcs contains different types of leaves, like the different types of trees in a botanical garden. An autumn walk through the leaves of deciduous trees that have fallen to the ground!
The shawl has almost no weight, just 100 grams (!) - like a little cloud in the blue sky!
Very small beads are used, they are placed by using a sewing needle and thread (there is a photo-tutorial on how to work with them).
Special twisted stitches are used, namely twisted stitches slanted to the right and left. The charts contain instructions on how to find them most easily in the wrong side rows.
There is also a special twisted i-cord bind-off.
A smaller version of the shawl can be knitted by binding off the stitches after 214 rows.
