Basket Hieroglyphic Square

Basket (also known as Basket With Handle) Hieroglyphic Square is part of my Hieroglyphic Square series! These quick-to-make squares are perfect for patches, pockets, bags, or larger square-based items.

The pattern uses straight needles and basic knit and purl stitches. There is one slightly trickier technique: duplicate stitch, which is used to embroider the design onto the blank square. This is an intermediate technique, however, there are instructions with pictures on how to do this within the pattern, making it accessible to a beginner looking to branch out.
