Bargello Blanket

Inspired by the beauty of Bargello needlepoint, Bargello Blanket is a gorgeous, yet easy to crochet blanket with plenty of possible color and construction options. The delicate flame stitch pattern looks breathtakingly charming and can be made with two, three or more colors.

The blanket can be crocheted as a single motif to create a simple and quick baby gift. Smaller motifs can also be turned into coasters, potholders, pillow covers, or chair cushions. For a larger-size afghan, several motifs are joined together. This is a great project to use all those leftovers and create something bright and cheerful.
