Bargello Aurora Wrap, Cowl & Scarf

Inspired by the distinctive zigzag stitch patterns used in Bargello tapestry work, Kath Andrews has designed this spectacular wrap with a mesmerising stripe pattern and attractive point details along the edges. Her Bargello stitch pattern uses some unusual decrease and increase methods, such as increasing four stitches in the same stitch. Kath’s design showcases a beautiful hand-dyed BFL yarn from Cat and Sparrow, and is worked in five complementary colours.

Yarn: Cat and Sparrow, Singular BFL (4ply weight; 100% superwash Bluefaced Leicester wool; 400m/437yds per 100g skein, 200m/218yds per 50g skein) A Lapis; 1 x 100g skein B Zephyr; 1 x 50g skein C Boat Race; 1 x 50g skein D Jade; 1 x 50g skein E Granny Smith; 1 x 50g skein
