Baltic Hats: Morning Star

The Morning Star hat is knit using two skeins of different colors (50g each) of DK weight yarn. The pattern offers 5 different hat sizes to accommodate different hat size/fit preferences. The hat is knit from the bottom up beginning with a tubular cast on with the smaller sized needles. This is followed by a Latvian braid with the larger sized needles and then stranded colorwork for the main pattern. The size S and M hats fit more like beanies and the size L hat fits as a slouchy hat, depending on your head size.
