Azure Maze Bag

With the Azure Maze Bag, you’ll crochet a sturdy bag you’ll want to use every day. This bag is made using the overlay mosaic crochet technique, where you work each round with just one color at a time.

Because the bag is crocheted from the bottom up in continuous rounds, there are no loose ends to weave in along the way. The color you’re not using simply hangs at the side until you pick it up again in the next round. There’s no assembly required either, as the handles are crocheted directly onto the bag at the end. After your final stitch, you’ll only have four ends left to weave in.

Even though mosaic crochet often requires a lot of counting and focus, I designed this pattern to feel relaxing and repetitive once you get into the rhythm. The pattern repeats every few rounds, so once you’re in the flow, you can crochet away with ease.

Choose two colors with a strong contrast to really make the pattern pop!
