The slippers are a simple project for anybody with a little sock-knitting experience. The toes are knitted in the round, starting with either a Turkish cast-on or with Judy's Magic Cast-on. Then the remainder of the foot is knitted flat. The foot opening is finished with applied i-cord, which is clearly instructed in the pattern - no previous i-cord experience required! The roses are felted after knitting, which is easily done in an ordinary household washing machine.
