Avalon Celtic cables cushion cover

Avalon is a digital pattern download for constructing a striking Celtic cabled cushion cover. The cushion cover includes a cabled intarsia central motif, and a mitered cabled frame.

The pattern is both written and charted.

Materials needed:

2 skeins wool of your choice in aran or chunky weight

in creme or white, 1 skein contrasting color like grey or dark brown, spare yarn of a third color for the center i-cord

Pair of 5.5 mm needles (or whatever size necessary to meet gauge)

Cable needle

Blunt needle for weaving loose ends and sewing pieces together

Stuffing material

Fabric texture for the back and a zipper

Stitch holder

Stitch marker
