See the leaves slowly change their colors? It's that magic time between summer and fall, when the swallows have left and nature prepares for change. Time for a scarf!

This one is easy to knit in a textured pattern that only requires knit and purl stitches. Although the pattern uses light fingering, it can be worked in any yarn. The scarf is completely reversible, both sides look the same.

Difficulty level: easy (knit and purl)

Yarn: Alize Bamboo Fine Batik Design (100% rayon from bamboo; 440m/100g; 481yds/3.53oz), 1 – 2 balls. Sample in a length of 210cm (84in) used 660m (722yds).

Needles: 2.5mm/US 1 1/2

Gauge: 38 stitches/38 rows in stockinette stitch = 10cm/4in.

Size: 19cm (7 3/4in) wide, can be worked to any length.
