Alex's Fair Isle Hat is a classic knitted beanie featuring traditional Fair Isle colorwork patterning. This downloadable knitting pattern is available in three sizes: Child (20"/51cm circumference), Adult (22"/56cm circumference), and Large Adult (25"/63.5cm circumference). The hat combines a ribbed cuff with Fair Isle stranded colorwork in the main body, creating a warm and visually striking accessory suitable for various head sizes.

Materials

Needles: Size US6 (4mm) 16-inch (40cm) circular needle for the ribbed cuff. Two Size US7 (4.5mm) 16-inch (40cm) circular needles for the main body and crown shaping, or the size needed to achieve proper gauge. The two larger needles allow knitters to divide stitches when they become too tight on a single needle.

Additional Supplies: A tapestry needle for weaving in yarn ends and a set of 9 stitch markers to track pattern repeats and size increases.
