Aestas Wrap

Aestas (Latin for "summer") is a beaded lace wrap with a garter stitch border edged with picots. Beaded decreases accentuate the geometric lace. It is perfect for thinner thick and thin handspun yarns, but you can use any fingering weight yarn. Aestas is worked bottom up using a picot cast on and a few rows of garter stitch, finished with a garter stitch border and a picot cast off.

Gauge: 1 chart repeat = 7x4in/[17.5x10.5cm] after blocking

Notes: Aestas can be worked from charted or written instructions. If using handspun, ensure thickest portions can accommodate 6/0 seed beads.
