Add Sparkle Cowl

Add warmth and sparkle to your cold weather wardrobe with this great accessory! The Add Sparkle Cowl was created using a bulky weight acrylic/wool/alpaca blend yarn that had a sparkle thread running through it. You can make this cowl using any bulky weight yarn or choice. Uses crochet hook size K (6.5 mm).

This pattern uses a new stitch I recently invented called "cast on triple crochet". Pattern includes photos showing how to work this fun and easy stitch. It is similar to a standard triple crochet, only it creates a wider and lacier stitch. The stitch is worked in this pattern using a standard front post and back post technique to create a beautiful ribbed texture. The cowl is reversible (the same on both sides).

Finished size: approx. 9.5" wide x 38" around.
