Later, as the result of a workshop, I fell in love with the Icelandic designs of the lopapeysa (Icelandic sweater). This stocking is my nod to Iceland.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis stocking is knitted in the round from the top down with a fold-over lace cuff, flap heel, star toe and i-cord hanging loop. The leg is stranded and there is a small section of stranding before the toe decrease as an accent.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMost of the stranding is knitted with just two colors at a time, though there are a few rounds that use all three colors at the same time.
