A LOVELY SHAWL : This shawl is knitted in one piece, by beginning lace border, then short rows form the body of shawl. Just need 2 skeins to knit this shawl : one in each colour chosen. This shawl measures approximately 63 inches (1.6 m) long and 18 inches (45 cm) wide, after blocking. The pattern is written, but the lace stitches instructions are in charts.
Materials : Yarn used : Fingering (sock) I used BELLE of ARTFIL : 100g / 354 m / 387 yds
- 1 skein in Charcoal colour
- 1 skein in Natural colour Circular or straight needles US 7
Gauge : 19,5 stitches and 16 rows = 4 inches (10 cm), in stockinette stitch, with needles US 7, after blocking.
