Product Description
Here's the 2015 Mystery Shawl from Sharon Mooney and Hands On Knitting Center. Free until after the last clue is given.
Here's the schedule: Clue 1: Saturday, June 6 Clue 2: Saturday, June 13 Clue 3: Saturday, June 20 Clue 4: Saturday, June 27
You will need 400 yds of a light worsted weight or dk weight yarn in EACH of a solid and a multi- colored.
Optional are 85 beads used in the bottom of the shawl, placed upon your solid yarn. You will string these on ahead of time, but there are ONLY 85 - so, not a big deal, right?!
This shawl has a couple techniques that most of you will not have done before; one at the bottom of the shawl (involving the beads!) and one at the top. In between there's some easy colorwork, some fancy, but not difficult stitchwork and a whole lot of fun!
This is a big shawl, it is good to have a nice contrast between the two yarns. I used Cascade 220 Superwash Worsted in a light grey and Madeline Tosh's Tosh DK in turquoise, grey, etc (col
