Product details

This is a pdf and video based workshop designed to take you through knitting your first pair of socks using the Magic Loop (knitting in the round using a long cable circular needle). It is suitable for the competent beginner (familiar with casting on/off, knitting and purling) and makes an excellent first garment project. It is also suitable for the more experienced knitter wanting a step by step introduction to knitting in the round using the magic loop. You are taken through long tail cast on, joining and working in the round, ribbing the cuff, working a reinforced heel, turning the heel, shaping and grafting the toe (Kitchener stitch), and finishing, through access to over an hour's worth of video demonstrations, as well as written pattern instructions. Please note that all the videos feature a right handed knitter.
