Willow Lark Ramble yellow was purchased to crochet chick's for Easter. The wool was on offer at such a good price for pure wool that I bought way more than I needed. The chick's knitted up beautifully and the wool was lovely to work with (softer than Toft but still kept shape). I went on the website for ideas to use remaining yarn and am going to knit a top as the wool feels sooo nice.

Ramble elsewhere!
This is the fifth time I have bought Willow and Lark 'Ramble', and I have found it very variable in quality. Navy and Maroon were soft and a joy to knit with. Rhubarb and Battleship Grey were much harder and not so nice to knit with. However I bought a packet and a half of colour 108, which I would call donkey brown, and it is, without doubt, the worst wool I have knitted with in thirty odd years, if not more. It splits very badly, is uneven and has a horrible 'handle'. I was doing a sweater...

I'm sure I've knitted with all the colour range and the 100% wool is soft and beautiful to knit with, and garments wash like a dream. I always hands wash but that's just me. The colours stay true even after several washes and I can't recommend enough how I love this yarn.
The best yarns in beautiful colours.
Merino wool that not only looks good but knits up beautifully. The wool washes well and keeps the colour. This is my must to look at wool and I've knitted several garments with it.

Great color, works up beautiful. I love the way anything I make with turns out very nice. Yarn does not split. I have not had any problems with this yarn and this is the 3rd time I have bought this yarn. It has become one of my go to yarns.

I absolutely loved the colour straw is this wool so purchased a couple as well as oatmeal to knit a beret with a fair isle pattern, it has turned out better than I expected so much so I knitted a scarf to go with it a present for Christmas for someone who loves yellow!
Great yarn, pattern access is tricky
I love knitting with this yarn. It feels so nice to knit with. I am making a hat. My only problem is I don’t actually have my knitting pattern in paper form. I have to download it and I keep going backward and forward to it, but other than that, it’s looking very nice.

Lovely quality wool yarn, Knits very evenly and colours are very rich. Extremely good value as it knits as a much more expensive yarn. So good I’ve ordered more before finishing current project.
