I have used lots of this wool for cardigans lots of socks and gloves. It’s perfect and the colours are lovely. I have used WYS Signature 4 ply several times to make socks. It is a hard-wearing long-lasting - both are excellent qualities in socks. It is extremely good for colour work. When it is being worked (knitted or crocheted) it feels a little rough but it softens more with every wash without losing its wear qualities.several pairs of my socks are around 15 years old!
Good reliable site for knitting and craft supplies
Used this for years for socks. Can’t fault it hard wearing, washes well in machine on wool cycle with wool wash. Doesn't pill or fluff wears well. Nice to knit with no splitting.

Lovely yarn to knit with
Yorkshire Spinners 4ply wool and nylon mix is a very easy yarn to knit with. I am about half way up the back of a jumper and it has a very neat finish. I would certainly use this yarn again.
Love the colours. I did use a crochet pattern that was free on your website. It was very easy to follow. There was a YouTube of this pattern that I referred to. I havent tried the knitted patterns but plan on using them this year. It was nice yarn and have purchased more.
It knits up soft with a bit of loft. I think it’s better for cool weather socks, as it’s warm and cozy. The stitch definition is good, and I like that it’s delicate machine washable.

Soft, luxurious and beautiful. Easy to knit with and great in your hand. Not cheap but worth the slightly higher price. The final piece is perfect.
West Yorkshire Signature yarn is lovely to work with and washes and wears well, also it’s a natural yarn great for the planet and it’s British and local!
