It is a beginner friendly project with a simple repeat and works up quickly.
Simple stitches are used throughout.
This uses a 5.5mm hook.
I used a vintage yarn (Cleckheaton Fleur 8Ply) which is a thicker dk bordering on an Aran weight. The pattern has been made successfully using various yarns from sport weight to aran weight. I recommend you do a gauge check. Further pattern repeats can be done to also increase size.
The pattern includes several graphs and is available in both Uk and Usa terms. The pattern is available in Uk terms and USA terms
