The yarn was hard to knit as it kept splitting ...lovely colours though.
The yarn colours are lovely and it feels soft to handle but the quality of the yarn is awful and it has been terrible to knit with, definitely not what I expected at the price. Firstly, the balls are so loosely wound they fall apart as you pull out the yarn. I knit from the middle of a ball and so was able to trap them in a small plastic bag but even then the yarn often pulled out in tangled lumps that took time to unravel. Secondly, the yarn is a single ply which has been spun inconsistently. In some places it’s quite soft and slubby and tends to pull apart and in others it’s as tightly wound and thin as sewing thread. Lastly, the yarn has too many knots and joins within the ball. One had 4 unmatched knotted joins which completely threw out the stripe pattern. I wasted a lot trying to find a section of colour matched yarn where I could rejoin inconspicuously. So definitely NOT recommended and I will never use this yarn again.
