Product Details
The Valentine socks are knit from cuff to toe. Starting with a provisional cast on to create the doubled cuff with picot edging, the heel instructions are for a heel flap and gusset, with the toes grafted together using your favourite grafting technique.
Valentine socks comes in 3 sizes: S (15cm/6"), M (18cm/7"), L (20cm/8") The sizes are measured on foot circumference. I'd recommend picking the size closest to 10% negative ease of your foot circumference.
The length from the beginning of the cuff to the start of the heel is approx 6cm/2.5" but can be lengthened if desired.
The sample was knitted in size M for a UK size 4.5 foot and used 50g of yarn.
Notions needed for this pattern include; 3 stitch markers crochet hook and scrap yarn for provisional cast on, spare needle in same size or smaller.
