Product Details
The Twist Bath Mat is an elegant and modern fair isle bath mat. I was inspired to design it after not being able to find a bath mat in the shops that I really liked.
The bath mat is knit with aran weight cotton yarn, specifically Drops Paris aran (100% cotton), 50 grams/75meters with 4 balls of Off White (17) and 2 balls of Dark Wash (103). The heavy cotton yarn is perfect for this bath mat design however a heavier weight could be used to make a slightly larger and heavier bath mat.
The pattern is for one size that measures 18” (46cm) by 29” (74cm). It is worked flat with 5mm needles as one piece with a 2" (5cm) edging of moss stitch. The pattern includes a chart for the fair isle section.
