SIZE: Adult; to fit an average-sized woman’s head (20-22”). Shown in a 22” head circumference. Length from brim to top: about 8,8” (22 cm)
YARN: Manos del Uruguay Franca (100 % superwash merino) – 1 skein (150 g/114 yds), although 100 g of a super bulky yarn are enough for this project. *Sample shown in colorway Torero. **Note: ***A perfect yarn substitute would be Madelinetosh A.S.A.P.
Needles and other notions: US 11 (8 mm) 16-inch (40 cm) circular needles and US 11 (8 mm) double pointed needles (these are optional to work the crown). US 10,5 (6,5 mm) 16-inch (40 cm) circular needles. Stitch marker, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 11 stitches x 16 rows over 4”/10 cm in Slip-stitch worked in the round with larger needles.
