The Transference Shawl is a crocheted triangular shawl designed as a calming, meditative project. The shawl grows from a narrow tip into a wider triangular silhouette, making it an easy project to customize in size based on your preferences and available yarn.

Design and Construction

This beginner-friendly crochet shawl is designed to use approximately 100g of ombré mini skeins, which creates a naturally color-transitioning finished piece. The shawl measures 142cm (56 inches) in width and approximately 32.5cm (13 inches) in length, making it a perfect size for draping over shoulders as an accent piece. The design begins at the narrow tip and expands outward, allowing crafters to stop at any point if they wish to create a smaller version.

Crochet Techniques and Stitches

The Transference Shawl uses fundamental crochet techniques suitable for beginners. The pattern employs the following stitches and abbreviations:
