The bulk of the hat is double crochet so this project works up pretty quick. Instructions are also given for the decorative bauble and cross pieces that give this hat it's distinctive style.

- A small amount of stuffing is used for the bauble. You may choose to make a pom pom instead. It will take more yarn but avoid the need for stuffing.
