Tilda Shawl

Textured short rows interchange with the self-striping Caron yarn cake in the triangular Tilda Shawl.

The skill level of this pattern is Intermediate/Advanced. The stitches used are rather simple, but the pattern asks for a careful reading.

This shawl is designed to use just one Caron “Cakes” yarn cake. Watch the colors change as you work up crochet short rows.

As gauge is not critical - any weight yarn and a hook that creates a good drape works well for this project (note that measurements will change along). However if you want to use just 1 Caron “Cakes” - make sure to use a hook not larger than 7 mm (K / 6.5 mm hook will work well for this project).

Stitches used: Ch (chain); Sl st (slip stitch); Sc (single crochet); Hdc (hdc) – worked in back loop (bl) and front loop (fl); Dc (double crochet); Tr (treble); Dtr (double treble); Puff st (puff stitch).
