Great for an advanced beginner or intermediate knitter.
Familiarity with cast on, cast off, knit and purl and knitting into slipped-over stitches. Some simple diagrams and a tutorial for the herringbone stitch is included with this pattern. Once practiced, it becomes a very natural stitch to work with. (Pattern written in UK terms)
