Teddy spring sweater

The sweater has set in sleeves and wide neck for an easy fit.

Both the sheep scene and the rabbit motif are worked following an easy chart using the block colour method and I have given tips and a link for anyone new to this.

I used King Cole dk cuddles for the sheep to make them nice and fluffy but any similar dk yarn would do. The faces and legs are embroidered on after finishing the knitting. I used three slip stitches for the face each going to a point at the nose. The legs are again slip stitches but I double the yarn to make them stand out more.

The rabbit face is also using slip stitches in dark brown.

These little sweaters are ideal for build a bears. My model is 15" Lil cub.
