Product Details
These gorgeous socks, ideal for lounging or sleeping, or just showing off, are knitted in sock yarns with added silk for luxury or angora for cosiness. They are knitted from the top down, using stitches chosen to show off a stripy yarn; they also look lovely in a single colour.
The Sweet Dreams socks are knitted in the round from the top down. They start with a tubular cast-on, followed by a garter stitch rib. The leg and instep are worked in a slip stitch cross pattern and the heel flap is decorated with a simple slip stitch. The socks are finished with wedge toes.
Sizing
- Sock foot circumference: 21 (24) cm.
- Sock foot length (adjustable): 22 (25) cm.
- To fit feet with a circumference of 18 (22) cm.
Yarn:
- A small amount of waste yarn is needed for the invisible cast-on.
- 4 ply sock yarn 2 (3) x 50 g.
The striped sample was worked in Regia Silk Colour, marokko 0188. The single colour sample was worked in Regia angora Merino, shade 07079.
