Susan Tote Bag
Cute library tote (or any purpose tote bag) .
100% cotton is highly recommended, as it is much sturdier with a lot less stretch than acrylic or any other types of yarn. A cotton blend may be ok.
Uses the sedge stitch and foundation single crochet. Simple instructions provided and video links provided where appropriate - but its really easy!!
Easily customisable with ribbons, lining, fastenings and appliqués and looks great in any colour that you choose! Materials :
Materials required: 580 yards in #4 worsted weight cotton or cotton acrylic mix 5mm hook Stitch markers (optional) Scissors Tapestry needle
Gauge isn’t essential for this project, but one square inch I got 5sc x 5sc as a guide.
The size ended up being 11.5 inches wide by 14 inches tall before handles. My handles were 37 inches long.
