I was looking forward to knitting my jumper with this wool however I am very disappointed The thickness of the wool is inconsistent resulting in variation in the texture of the piece and the depth of the shade giving the impression of patchwork I doubt that I will wear the finished product
This is a light weight Aran yarn which is exactly what I wanted for a child's jumper. It has very good yardage and washable. It knits up easily and evenly.
Soft and warm, knits up beautifully and has a delightful halo, very mohair-esque but without the extra cost! Lovely range of colours, I chose hip and almond for a fair isle jumper and it looks far more expensive than it was to make
Bit difficult to knit with!
Lightweight but cosy and warm. Beautiful colours too.
This yarn comes in really gorgeous colours and knits up nicely. It’s really lightweight but will be really warm and cosy tho wear. However it is a nightmare if you make a mistake and have to take your work back as the fluffy fibres stick together and are hard to separate. I’m only part way through knitting my garment so it remains to be seen how the finished garment will look.
Very good value for money and looks good when knitted up. Using size 5 mm needles also helps to get a finished product more quickly. The fluffiness of the wool does mean it gets attached to itself sometimes but if you keep an eye on it, it can be separated with a bit of a pull. I have bought more as new colours were available.
