Want to add a mini snow scene to your ankles? The Snowfall Socks scream winter fun!
They are worked top down with an afterthought heel and a snowball bobble feature on the ankle.
This is a simple sock pattern so, if you’ve never made socks before but have some crochet experience then this could be the pattern to convert you!
This pattern uses simple stitches, works in rounds, simple decreases and working in the back loop and front loop technique. It also uses the foundation row method.
Made with DK yarn (wool or wool-nylon blend is recommended), they work up relatively quickly. You’ll need from around 50 - 150g (about 120-350m) of the main colour and about 20-40g (30-60m)of the contrasting colour, depending on the size you choose.
The pattern uses US terms.
