Short Row Shawlette

A sweet shawlette in two contrasting, aran weight yarns featuring a simple and effective short row stripe. As well as visual drama the short rows add shape and drape to hug the shoulders perfectly and keep the shawlette in place. To complete the playful effect the shawlette is finished with a colourful frill. A multi seasonal and multi purpose garment that is as at home worn over bare shoulders to add a little warmth against the evening chill, as draped on an overcoat to add a colourful statement. As a relatively quick knit, taking only 100g of each yarn, it is also perfect for gift knitting.
