Schachenmayr Catania Color

I've now bought the shades Clown and Africa, and they're both beautiful and the way the colors work up is very satisfying! Whether solid colors or variegated, Schachenmayr Catania is an excellent, sturdy brand of cotton; it gives me a lot of confidence that my amigurumi--whether keychains and bag tags or regular stuffies--won't snag or deform! My only sadness with Catania Color is the limited options for variegated colors, but I have no complaints about the options that do exist. (Featured pictures: Africa became a purrmaid, and Clown became a rat sweater!)

I used this yarn for warp and weft, the colors are strong and lovely. I really liked the feel of the cloth once done. Some were drapey and loose and some were solid and blanket like. I plan on using some for a baby blanket.
