Here is my revised Santa Claus Knitting Pattern, a pattern I designed in 2014. The finished doll is 14.5cm tall and comes complete with a Santa's sack. The design is based on an Izzy doll, which had just become a popular doll to knit back in the day. Santa has a detachable hat and would look fantastic on a Christmas tree or as part of a Christmas display.
