Absolutely wonderful yarn. Pleasant to work with. The knitted stitches are crisp. I used it in garten stitch, stockinette and lace work. The result was high definition in all three techniques. Wash very well.I hope to have the opportunity to use this yarn again in the near future.

Yarn is fine except there are bits that are quite thin ( as if it would break easily )

I like Rowan Softyak DK very much. It’s soft, durable and has a beautiful stitch definition, excellent for cables! I’ve made the Hearten Cardigan by Kim Hargreaves in dark green (it’s called pasture I think) and I’m now working on my second one in the color Driftwood. Recently I purchased a darker blue for a sweater for my husband, I’m curious to see its stitch definition on a plain stockinette pattern.
I thought it was softer. Excellent product anyway
Lovely to knit with, lovely colour, light weight yet seems as if will be warm very pleased with it so far.
Love this yarn. The items I knit with have a long shelf life - the item still looks good 3 summers on after frequent wear, no piling or matting. The only thing I will say is that the colours on the websites are not true. The yarn I received was several shades darker. However, the colours are beautiful. I'm very pleased.
