Product Details
Rínce Fada (rink-a fa-da), literally “long dance” in Irish, is a progressive céilí (kay-lee) dance where couples work their way along a column in jig time. The name leapt out at me when I was playing with cables and double-knitting and the word dance. When I turned the letters 90 degrees, my thought was “that will be so long!” Light bulb moment! And of course, length works well for what? Scarves!
The charts may look a bit strange. I've employed a technique called ‘extreme double-knitting’ which keeps motifs like letters and treble clefs completely reversible, and most importantly readable. Trust in the charts; your scarf really will come out similar to the photos.
