Product Description
The colour of this yarn combined with the diamond motif reminds me of Amythst, which is a type of quartz. Quartz has the fairly unusual property that when compressed it generates an electrical charge - this is called piezoelectricity. I can't promise that they'll generate electricity, but these socks will put a spring in your step.
These are top down with a flap and gusset heel, which can be easily adapted for a higher instep and comes in three sizes. The socks are designed to be worn with 1”/2.5cm negative ease.
The pattern contains written and charted instructions, whichever you prefer to work from. The digital version also contains bookmarks at strategic points to help you navigate the pattern.
The sample was made in Dirty Water Dyeworks Bertha in the Lupine colourway.
