King cole wool is a good budget wool and a good choice of colours. I've used claret, merlot, glacier and just ordered this blue. The colours have always been near to the photos but the dolphin blue is much brighter than the photo. I kept it but not sure I'll use it. Daughter isn't keen on the colour.
Gorgeous soft fell & very vibrant colour. I love that whatever I order it always arrives super fast.
I crocheted with this 100% acrylic yarn and found it delightfully smooth and strong. It was perfect thickness for 10-15mm hooks/needles. The 100g balls' advertised length is 60m which is about right. I've made blankets and jumpers with this. Recommended wash care is 30°c delicates. Cool iron and low tumble heat. I've washed them on 40°c regular and they've come out well; I haven't tumble dried them to see how they fare. There are a few colour choices but I found there weren't many shade variants. Perhaps it was the stockist not supplying a full range but seemed limited to more baby/child type colours. But, I'm still rating 5 stars as it's a great staple to your yarn collection for sure

Loved this wool - great weight, knits into a lovely chunky but drapey fabric. Am waiting for the paper white to come back into stock to make another jumper - hopefully soon 🤞
