I haven't had issues with knots in the skein, and it hasn't split once. It's very kind on my hands. The price was also incredibly reasonable for the large amount purchased. I am only halfway done with my blanket, but I will definitely be looking at Paintbox yarns for large projects in the future. I make 6 to 12 blankets a year as well as dozens of other crochet items, so it is awesome to find an affordable yarn that has variety and quality.
