Ordered about 15 mixed colours of this Paintbox Yarn to continue a project, many of the balls differ in yarn thickness. I had previously ordered 15 balls to start my project, all same "weight" this order is varied. I emailed with photo's showing the variation, no response. The difference in using the thicker yarns with the "normal" weight has affected not only the look of my project but the "feel" too. Not very impressed, love the wide selection of colours, but not sure i'd order anymore once...

Lovecraft sent the wrong yarn! I had it expressed ship b/c I needed it right away. I ordered aran yarn and they shipped yarn that was thinner and I had to double up the yarn for my project b/c I couldn't wait for the correct yarn to be shipped.
Great yarn for summer projects
It’s easy care and easy to knit with, comes in a lot of nice colors, and is inexpensive. I’m making a summer-weight top with it. The drape and weight work very well.
Great shop for wool choices
Easy to knit with and great for baby projects as it's soft but strong. I used it to make comforters that can be sucked and chewed and washed without the wool piling.
I first brought a ball of Paintbox Aran and cotton mixed yarn from a charity shop, I was so pleased with it I then had to locate it online. It’s slightly thicker than cotton and crochets great. I’m currently working on a weekend bag and my daughter has made skirts and tops with it as it comes in so many lovely colours. If you want a soft yarn that’s slightly thicker than cotton I would recommend using this yarn.
This cotton Aran knits up very well and looks as good as a more expensive yarn that I have previously used. Obviously I can’t yet tell how it will wash and wear.

I love this yarn, It is soft but durable and it holds the shape very good after washing. There are so many colors to choose from.
