I think you’ll enjoy knitting this comical family of owls. They are quick and very easy to knit and you have three sizes to choose from.
SIZE - There are 3 sized to knit
Father Owl – 12cm (5in)
Mother Owl – 10.5cm (4.5in)
Baby Owl – 8.5cm (3.5in)
PATTERN - The pattern is easy to follow with lots of coloured pictures to assist with every stage of your kitten making. All pattern rows are numbered.
SKILLS REQUIRED - Cast on, cast off (bind off), knit, purl, k2tog
NEEDLES - knitted on a pair of 3.25mm needles (US 3) but you will also need a pair of 2.75mm needles (US size 2) for eyes, beaks and feet.
YARN - Small amounts of DK (double knitting) yarn (USA - light-worsted/Australia - 8 ply)
