Any fingering-weight sock yarn with similar composition would substitute well. For example:
Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock; 80% Merino, 20% Nylon; 424 yds [388 m] / 4 oz [115 g] - in Pomegranate and Tumbled Stone, or any of a number of great colour combinations.
**Needles: **US #2 [2.75 mm] or size needed to obtain gauge as listed, set of 5 DPNs, long circular for magic loop, or 2 circulars.
**Notions: **3 stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn.
**Gauge: **40 stitches and 40 rounds / 4 inches [10 cm] in colourwork pattern, blocked.
