MK#82 Scarf

This minimal knits | DESIGNED MK#82 scarf can be made with about 400 metres – 438 yards of: 50 grams of 2ply/lace kid mohair plus silk, or 100 grams of 4ply/fingering/sock yarn, or 200 grams of 8ply/DK yarn. This scarf has curved edges, so it sits comfortably around our neck & shoulders.

This crescent shaped scarf drapes beautifully, looks the same on both sides – front & back, left & right - can be worn in all sorts of ways & is quick to knit because the pattern uses needles larger than is standard for the yarn. Most of the rows are just knits, with the loopy increases on every row, but aside from the first 3 rows, the centre section repeatedly has 2 rows of knits, then two rows with knits and purls. Casting off with beads is an option.
